Lil Xan cancels shows for Mac Miller tribute album

Washington: American rapper Lil Xan has cancelled a bunch of his shows across Texas and the Midwest to work for Mac Miller’s tribute album.

According to TMZ, the rapper is taking a break from performing in order to recharge himself after the long hours he has spent recording ‘Be Safe’, which is a tribute album dedicated to his friend, late Mac Miller.

‘Be Safe’ was Miller’s final words to Xan the last time they saw each other.

The ‘Betrayed’ artist, who has spoken about his battles with mental illness at various points this year, cancelled these upcoming shows because he doesn’t want to put on “half-ass” shows for fans that come to see him perform.

Because of his lengthy studio sessions, Xan has decided to rest up before taking the stage once again on November 6.

Many Hollywood musicians like Miller’s ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, Elton John among others had also paid tribute to the late rapper, who died at the age of 26 of an apparent drug overdose this past September.
