Light showers greet Delhiites

New Delhi, June 24: A spell of light showers across the city today gave Delhiites some relief from the searing heat although maximum temperature remained above 40 degree Celsius mark.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum was recorded at 31.6 degrees. The humidity oscillated between 64 and 35 per cent.
