In recognition of the cultural and literary achievements, the Siasat daily has decided to give away Lifetime Achievement Awards on the occasion of release function of ‘Aks-e-Hyderabad’.
In this connection Abid Ali Khan Award is being given for promotion, preservation and safeguarding classical status of Deccani language. Mahboob Husain Jigar Award will be conferred on the imminent calligraphist Nayeem Sabiri. Artist Shaikh Mohammed Abdul Lateef will be given M F Husain Award, Ustad Vitthal Rao will be bestowed with Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Awards for music and Mrs. Fatima Aalam Ali Khan will be conferred upon Dr. Zeenat Sajida Award for literature.
