Puducherry,April 19:A local court today sentenced threeconvicts to life in a November 2004 murder case.
Public Prosecutor K.Shanmugham told PTI that AdditionalDistrict and Sessions Judge Mohandoss also awarded three yearsterm of imprisonment under IPC section 449 (house trespass tocommit offence punishable with death) and imposed a fine of Rs1000 and in default to undergo three months imprisonment.
The terms were to run concurrently.
The three had allegedly stabbed a 25-year-old man during a quarrel while playing carrom in Villianoor commune panchayatlimits near Puducherry.
