Hyderabad, August 11: We are grateful to Allah, the Almighty that our son Dr. Junaid has been exonerated by court and he is in front of our eyes. We spent miserable life when our son was falsely implicated by the police in the Makkah Masjid bomb blast case four years ago. In fact, after the bomb blast at Makkah masjid our, son Dr. Junaid was helping the injured persons to rush to the hospital which was a humanitarian act but the police rewarded him with imprisonment.
These were the words expressed by the parents of Dr. Junaid who was arrested by police after the sad incident of Makkah Masjid.
They expressed gratitude to the Civil Liberties Organisations and Siasat for their efforts in getting their son released from prison. Mr. Faiyaz Ali, father of Dr. Junaid said that because of imprisonment, the social life has become miserable. He was removed from job and his matrimonial alliance was broken.
Mr. Faiyaz Ali requested the Govt. of A.P. to give compensations to all the victims who were subjected to police atrocities for the crimes they did not commit.
He also pleaded the Govt. to rehabilitate his son and give compensation so that he could lead a peaceful social life. He further said that now that the real culprits have been exposed, the Muslim youths who have been kept in prison for false allegations should be freed and rehabilitated.
