Liev Schribber denies harassment charges

Washington: Hollywood actor Liev Schreiber refuted allegations of hitting a photographer on June 07.

The 50-year-old actor appeared in New York court on Tuesday to respond to a second-degree harassment charge, People magazine reported.

According to People, the accused actor hit Sherwood Martinelli, the photographer after he tried to click a picture of the former on the sets of ‘Ray Donovan’, a thriller TV series.

Schreiber who appeared in the court pled not guilty and filed a petition in order to dismiss the charge levelled against him.

September 20 is now set as the next date of hearing.

Page Six reported that Schreiber and Martinelli indulged in a war of words after the proceedings were over.

Speaking to Variety, Schribber said he never touched the photographer or his camera. He added that irrespective of being pissed at Martinelli, he never got into a fight with the latter.
