New Delhi: In the wake of the ongoing BMC Polls in Mumbai, Niranjan Hiranandani, CMD, Hiranandani Communities has encouraged Mumbaikars to exercise their voting rights and feel proud of their city.
Speaking to ANI at the polling booth here today, an elated Hiranandani stressed on the importance of casting votes.
“It feels terrific to vote. We must spread the word across Mumbai persuading people to come down and vote. Mumbai is ours and we should be proud of it,” urged Hiranandani.
“It is displeasing to see that people of Mumbai are not taking initiative to vote. I hope people become more conscious and this reflects in the voting numbers this year,” added Hiranandani.
Meanwhile, police has tightened security across the city ahead of the ongoing Mumbai Municipal Corporations elections and are maintaining a strong vigil to avert any untoward incident across the 7,304 polling centres. (ANI)
