Chaibasa (Jharkhand), December 15: There should be a halt to the debate on carving out of small states for the sake of a united India, BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha said today.
“It is good for creation of small states like Telengana. But the time has come to say enough is enough for the sake of keeping the country united,” Sinha told newsmen after addressing a poll meeting.
Commenting on the flare-up on the Telengana statehood issue, Sinha accused the Congress of taking a hasty decision on it.
“The days will not be far off when the slightest of difference in dialect will also demand for a separate state.
Therefore, there should be a halt to this,” Sinha said.
