Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader V Hanumanth Rao has advised party leaders to concentrate on the Old City keeping the GHMC elections in view.
Speaking at a meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan on GHMC elections on Sunday, VH said there was need to improve Congress vote bank in the Old City. He alleged that the MIM party backs ruling party whatever it may be in power. He also advised the party leaders to give priority to women. The party has decided that meetings should be conducted in all 24 civic constituencies to strengthen the party. (NSS)
