Mumbai, December 18: WITH the release date of Don 2 inching closer, the makers as well as the lead actors have started to pump up the promotions in a big manner.
The talks doing the round is that SRK is not really participating in the promotions of Don 2 like he did for his home production Ra. One . The superstar must have realised that publicity overkill was one of the main reasons for a lukewarm response from the audience.
This time producers Farhan Akhtar ( also the director) and Ritesh Sidhwani are on a whirlwind tour of India promoting the film aggressively.
SRK’s promotional plans of wooing the smaller towns for the success of the movie faltered in the first leg as he couldn’t visit Patna because of security issues.
He then headed to Nagpur to begin the promotional tour followed by Jaipur.
