Balrampur: A 12 year-old boy was killed by a leopard in village Suhelwa in the forest range on the Indo- Nepal border here.
“The boy, Ram Jiyawan was sleeping in Balugaon village when the leopard dragged him away in the night. His body was recovered this morning from the outskirts of the village,” R N Maurya, Forest Ranger of the Suhelwa western range said today.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination and a hunt has been launched for the leopard, he added.
