Rajkot, March 12: A leopard died after getting stuck in the fencing of a farm in Junagadh district, forest department sources said.
The incident took place in Ivenagar town of Junagadh district last night when a male leopard, trying to pass through, got stuck in the fencing, and died of suffocation.
Range forest officer (RFO) Deepak Pandya alongwith forensic experts rushed to the spot for further investigation and sent the body for post morterm, sources said.
Forest department has lodged a complaint against the farm owner, sources added.
