London: At least two people have died and various others injured after two trains collided near Bad Aibling in the southern German state of Bavaria, say police.
According to The Guardian, the regional trains crashed head-on on the single track between Rosenheim and Holzkirchen, the police spokesman Stefan Sonntag said.
At least two people had died in the crash, he said, but the scene was so confused that he did not have any specific numbers of either deaths or injuries.
Bavarian police tweeted that about 100 people had been injured.
Some people were stuck inside the wreckage of the train and rescue staff were trying to free them, Sonntag said. (ANI)
