Dhaka, July 30 : At least 16 people have died in landslides in Nepal that were triggered by torrential rain, said officials.
According to the Daily Star, officials said that the death toll could rise.
Dozens are missing in villages near Pokhara that lies around 200 km west of the capital Kathmandu.
Chief District Officer Krishna Bahadur Raut was quoted, as saying that Nepali rescue teams were searching houses buried by landslides. (ANI)
