Leader’s son, bride flaunt riffles at reception, case filed

Guwahati: A son of top politician NSCN-U leader and his newlywed wife are in troubled waters after the couple posed for the wedding reception brandishing automatic assault rifles.

The Nagaland Police are now looking into ceasefire ground rules violation that took place in the wedding reception at Dimapur, TOI reports.

“A case has been registered. We are doing the investigation and we will take action against violation of ceasefire ground rules violation,” Dimapur police commissioner Rothihu Tetso said.

The photograph of the son of Bohoto Kiba, a kilo kilonser (home minister) of NSCN-U, and the newly wedded bride both posing with an M16 and AK 56 rifles at their wedding reception has gone viral on WhatsApp groups.
