New Delhi, April 14: Leaders cutting across party lines today paid floral tributes to B R Ambedkar on the occasion of his 119th birth anniversary.
Among those who paid tributes to the departed leader in Central Hall of Parliament House included Speaker Meira Kumar, Leader of Lok Sabha Pranab Mukherjee, Leader of Opposition in the Lower House Sushma Swaraj, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha K Rahman Khan and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley.
Several union ministers also offered their tributes to the Dalit icon. A booklet containing the profile of the departed leader, brought out by the Lok Sabha Secretariat in Hindi and English, was also presented to the dignitaries on the occasion.
