Leaders Leaving Outdated TDP: Gandra

Stating that YSRCP was expecting party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would get bail in the court, Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkatramana Reddy has said the facts would come out in the court.
Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Sunday, Gandra said it was good that YSRCP leaders were alerted much before the party leaders raised a banner of revolt against the leadership. He advised Jaganmohan Reddy’s sister Sharmila to try for securing bail for her beloved brother instead of witch-hunting the Congress government. He said the media was only speculating that Konda Surekha couple might be joining the Congress.
Describing the Telugu Desam party as an outdated medicine and that was the reason why its leaders were migrating to other parties for greener pastures, Gandra sarcastically said except party chief N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh, nobody would remain in the TDP. He opined that Chandrababu Naidu’s arduous padayatra ended in sheer waste.
He said there was nothing wrong in the statement of Endowment Minister C. Ramachandraiah that Union Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi would become chief minister of the State in 2014. (NSS)
