Hyderabad: State BJP president Dr K. Laxman on Thursday warned the State government that they would not tolerate fatal attacks on his party leaders and workers in the State.
He made these remarks after visiting party’s MPTC candidate from Mahadevunipeta Vara Laxmi at SVS hospital. He enquired from her the manner in which the attack took place. He assured the woman leader that the party would stand by them. Noting that wins and defeats are very common in elections, he said he condemned the brutal attack against the party leaders. He demanded that the district SP take action against the accused responsible for the attack.
Later, he also visited the house of party worker from Dokur village under Devarakadra mandal Prem Kumar, who was murdered in the attack allegedly by TRS leaders and consoled the family members.
