Laxman sure of return of NDA govt at Centre, ridicules KTR claims

Hyderabad: State BJP president K. Laxman today exuded confidence that his party-led NDA Government would form the next government at the Centre.

Addressing mediapersons at the party State office at Nampally here, Laxman ridiculed the Federal Front concept mooted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and promotion of the front by his son and TRS working president K Tarakarama Rao that the leader of the federal front would be the next Prime Minister. He also asked KTR to name the so-called Federal Front leader, who would be the next Prime Minister. He also made it clear that the federal front doesn’t have any leader to become PM at all.

Commenting on the statement of KTR that the TRS did not have any competition from either Congress or BJP in the State and that the competition was between party leaders of different districts in the State, Laxman quipped KTR was right on the issue and said the competition was between KTR and his cousin Harish Rao. He also said their slogan for the election was “Nation for Modi–Modi for the Nation.
