BJP state wing expressed its happiness over High Court’s dismissal of G.O.No.123 today which deals with the land acquisition.
In a statement, the BJP state president Dr K Laxman alleged that the TRS government scaring the people with its dictatorial G.O.s in the state by not taking the opposition parties into consideration. There was no change in the attitude of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao though the High Court found fault with the decisions of the state government for several times, he alleged. All political parties, people, farmers urged the government to implement Land Acquisition Act-2013 for land acquisition for the projects in the state but the government brought G.O.No.123 ridiculing opposition parties and people, he charged. He suggested the Chief Minister has to remember that the G.O.s in regard to land acquisition will not stand at Courts as the Central government brought Land Acquisition Act-2013 in 2013. The State government has to give back the lands taken forcefully under G.O.No.123 for Pharma City and NIMZ etc, he said.
He said that the BJP was demanding the state government to acquire land for the irrigation projects only through grama sabhas and farmers willingness. (NSS)
