Hyderabad, July 25: With a goal to ensure defeat of the PCC president, Mr D Srinvas, in the July 27 by-elections, the members of the Telangana Lawyers’ Joint Action Committee (TLJAC) left for Nizamabad today.
After paying tributes to the Telangana martyrs at the Gunpark opposite the Assembly, the Telangana advocates left for Nizamabad in 12 buses to canvas against the Congress candidate, Mr D Srinivas.
Speaking on the occasion, the Telangana Lawyers JAC leaders said that they would organise a huge rally with 5,000 lawyers in the Nizamabad town to exhort the voters to defeat the “Telangana traitor” Mr D Srinivas in the by-elections.
