Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today informed the Upper House that the law and order was under control and the police wing was working very hard for the purpose.
As usual, the Home Minister gave a pat to the Police department for better performance. He said a Command Control Center will be in place for bringing under one umbrella the entire State with respect to law and order for 24 hour surveillance. Reacting to some of queries by the Opposition members in the Council during budget session debate on thanks giving motion to Governor ESL Narasimhan’s speech, the Home Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao believes in protecting people with equal priority through law and order. “The Telangana State is witnessing peace and the people are living in cordial atmosphere and brotherhood with KCR’s initiative”, the minister remarked. The government was also ready to set up police stations at several locations to ensure law and order, he added. (NSS)
