Bengaluru: A professor of National Law School of India University, Bengaluru made sarcastic remark against third-year girl student which triggered virtual war.
The professor has passed remarks on 4th April against the girl for wearing shorts. The students of the law college, protested against the professor by wearing shorts in his class the next day.
The students alleged that the professor not only shamed the girl student for the clothes she wore to class but also made cast aspersions on her character.
The students demanded action against the professor. The Vice Chancellor has taken cognizance of the issue. The students demanded for the constitution of fact finding committee.
