GITAM School of Law is offering admission into 5 year Integrated BA-LLB (Hons), BBA-LLB (Hons) and 3 year LLB programs at its Visakhapatnam campus for the academic year 2014-15. Prof. Y.Satyanarayana, Director, School of Law informed in a press release on January 4, 2014.
Admission into Law programs is based on GITAM Law Admission Test (GLAT-2014). The LSAT-India & CLAT-2014 scorers need not appear for GLAT. The candidate should have passed Intermediate/HSC (10+2) examination for 5 year programs and graduation in any discipline (except BFA & Single sitting) for LLB with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC, ST& PH). The maximum age limit is 20 years for 5 year programs and 22 years for LLB (2 years of age relaxation for SC, ST& PH) as on July 1, 2014.
Last date for the receipt of filled-in-applications is 5th May, 2014. Date of GLAT-2014 is on May 26th. The results will announce on June 23rd. Date of counseling/ Admissions is from July 4& 5, 2014. GLAT will conduct in the test centers of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Jamshedpur, Kolkatta and Visakhapatnam.
Applications can be downloaded from www.gitam.edu and filled-in applications along with copies of certificates and DD for Rs.700/- (for girls Rs.500/-) drawn in favour of Director, School of Law, GITAM University and any scheduled bank payable at Visakhapatnam.
