TDP senior leader and former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu today said the people of the State knew very well that loss of surplus waters of Krishna was caused by a letter submitted by late chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy stating that AP does not need surplus waters of the Krishna river.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Muddukrishnama Naidu asked YSRCP chief and Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy to shun “cheap politics” for the sake of wooing people for their votes. He also alleged that late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had submitted a letter to the Krishna River Water Tribunal stating that AP does not need surplus water of Krishna for the sake of commissions.
