Abul Hasanath Islamic Research Centre organized a seminar at Masjid Al- Hasanath in Phool bagh, Jahanuma on 2nd December to commemorate the life and academic achievements of Prof. Mohammed Abdus Sattar Khan,former Head of the Department of Arabic, Osmania University. Maulana Khaleel Ahmed presided over the function.
In this address , he told that by narrating the life and works of the pious people, the faith (Iman) of the Muslims gets fresh energy. He told that the life of the Prof.Sattar Khan is a model for the Muslims.
He was a pious man. He was modest.Even after retirement, he continued his academic activities. Maulana Khaja Shareef told that the life of Prof. Sattar Khan was the best model of Islamic life. He preached Islam and he mended the characters of many Muslims. Maulana Qubul Pasha Shuttari told that he imbibed Islamic education from reputed Islamic Scholars and preached Islam in America also He was a modest teacher. His way of teaching was excellent.
Hafiz Shaik Ahmed Mihiuddin Sharfi told that in modeling the life of Prof. Sattar Khan two important personalities namely, Hazrath Abdullah Shah Naqshabandi and Maulana Abul Wafa Afghani played an important role.
Prof. Abdul Majeed told that he used to treat his students as his children.
Dr. Syed Badiuddin Saberi said that faith(Iman) is related to belief(Aqueeda) and our actions are related to piety(Taqwa). This is the reason, Islamic scholars strengthened the beliefs of Islamic faith.
Prof. Mohammed Mustafa Shareef told that the training of his teachers turned Prof. Sattar khan into an exemplary researcher. He never used to utter a single word without quoting the source.
His life is a model for researchers.
