Last date for paying SSC exam fees extended

Hyderabad, January 04: The due dates for remittance of exam fees has been extended under the tatkal scheme for regular or once failed or private candidates appearing for the SSC Public examinations to be held in March. All heads of institutions have been instructed to remit the exam fee in the prescribed treasury challan only, duly enclosing the list of candidates.

Last date for remittance of examination fee by candidates to the headmaster concerned will be January 19. The headmaster has to remit the same to the sub-treasury, State Bank of Hyderabad or State Bank of India by January 20. Late date for submission for NRs/ICR-cum-OMR by headmasters in the DEOs office will be Jan 21. Last date for submission fo NRs/ICR cum OMR in the office of DGE, Hyderabad will be January 22, with a late fee of `1,000.

According to the director of the Government Examinations, this is the last chance for payment of the exam fees and the due dates will not be extended later under any circumstances.

Candidates who have registered for the SSC Public examinations March 2011 are alone eligible to appear for the advanced supplementary examinations to be held in May or June. As such all once-failed candidates and fresh candidates who desire to appear for the SSC Public examinations are requested to utilise this last opportunity to appear for the examination, the director said in a press release.
