MUMBAI: Engineering and construction conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said that its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 2,525 crore across its various business segments.
“The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 2,525 crore across various business segments,” the company said in a stock exchange filing.
L&T said its metallurgical and material handling business has bagged orders worth Rs 2,271 crore in the domestic market.
Other business segments of the construction arm have won orders worth Rs 254 crore, it added.
The power transmission and distribution business has an order from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand for constructing a “500/300 kV gas-insulated substation” and improvement works in two other such substations, the statement said.
The Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu has given an order for works in the Tamil Nadu State Data Centre – Phase I, which includes setting up a data centre, it added.
