Mumbai, April 27: Actress Lara Dutta rubbishes all the reports about her going bald for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2. The actress points out, “Bald? Me? Had that been the case, I would have been sporting short hair.”
While Priyanka will be seen in his original character in Don 2, Lara will be doing a glamorous cameo. “I’m happy, and I’m not competing with anyone,” she told TOI. “Sure, Priyanka figures prominently in the film which is understandable since she’s the female lead. But when I look back at the work I’ve done, I’m proud to say that I’m a part of this Don. Farhan’s direction, my character’s look and what I’m doing in the film is all very interesting.”
Lara’s look in Don 2 has been kept under wraps, meanwhile there were speculations that she has shaved her head for the same. The actress, however, denies to the bald avatar and say, “You’ll have to wait till the film’s promotions start to get an idea of what my character is all about.”
Presently, Lara is gearing up for her home production, Chalo Dilli. The film is all set to release this Friday (April 29, 2011). Chalo Dilli stars the talented actor Vinay Pathak oppoysite Lara and is been directed by Shashant Shah.
