Land will be taken back if hostels are not constructed: Collector of Hyderabad

Collector of Hyderabad Mr. Natarajan Gulzar said that plots of lands were allotted to welfare organizations and departments for constructing students’ hostels. He warned all the concerned that if hostels have not been constructed on the allotted lands, they will be taken back by the Government and they will be allotted to other departments. Collector was reviewing “Mee Kosam (For You)” programme in the conference hall of the collectorate.

If the Departments of SCs, STs and BCs welfare fail to get the amounts sanctioned by the Government, these lands would be taken back and would be allotted to the other departments which need them.

He issued instructions to District Social Welfare Officers not to cause any delay in sanctioning scholarships to students.

He also instructed them to get the bank accounts opened in respect of the students who have not already done so.

People submitted petitions for allotment of houses, grant of pensions and to provide jobs to physically handicapped persons.
