Hyderabad, January 26: In a highly deplorable incident, a Muslim, by demolishing a side wall and door of a mosque, transformed the mosque land into a plot and sold it to another Muslim.
Chanchalguda is a locality predominated by Muslims. An ancient mosque named Manja miyan is located in Chanchalguda whose complete record is with waqf gazette. Despite that a Muslim neighbor himself demolished a side wall and door of the mosque and sold the land of mosque, shamefully the buyer is also a Muslim.
These proceedings were carried out without the knowledge of mosque mutawalli, Mr. Syed Yaqoob Sabir who is unwell these days and taking rest at home on the advice of doctors.
When he came to know about the dealing he reached Dabirpura police station and lodged a written complaint. Waqf board should immediately carry out the survey of the said mosque and probe into the matter.
