Land grabbing case: MIM MLA’s brother held

Hyderabad: In a land grabbing case, the younger brother of an MLA of MIM was held.

According to the report published in DC, Cyberabad Police arrested Asgar Hussain, the younger brother of Jafar Hussain, MLA from Nampally and another person.

As per the statement of the police, accused had submitted forged land documents and sold the property. This land was claimed to be owned by another person.

Police also reported that Mohd Aslam, a resident of Mehdipatnam owned this land. The property is spread over an area of 1,520 sq. yards located at Pallecheruvu village which comes under the jurisdiction of Mailardevpally Police station.
It is also reported that after fabricating the documents, Asgar and Syed Meraj sold the property to Aslam Ibrahim in 2009-10 for a consideration of Rs 90 lakh.
Mohd Aslam after returning from abroad found that his land was grabbed. Later, he came to know that Asgar was involved in it.
Meanwhile, Aslam Ibrahim demanded Asgar to return the amount. Although Asgar had agreed and issued post-dated cheques, he did not return the amounts. Vexed with this, the victim contacted the police, DC reported.
Talking about the case, Inspector of Police, Mr. P. Jagadeeshwar told that a case is registered against Asgar and Meraj and they were arrested.
