Land grabbers eying Waqf land of Eidgah Gutla, Begumpet

Land grabbers are eying the 90 acre 17 guntas of precious land of Eidgah Gutla Begumpet, the market value of which is Rs. 21,82,11,40,000. Recently a land grabber tried to usurp one acre land of Eidgah Gutla Begumpet and fixed steel fencing around the land while putting up a banner of Triumph Sports Academy/Raju Cricket Club.

Masjid committee lodged a complaint at Madhapur police station to stop illegal occupation at the same time it also informed state Waqf Board about this. AP State Waqf Board’s Task Force Team led by Syed Abdul Quddoos inspected the situation and lodged FIR at Madhapur police station. However the police instead of naming Triumph sports academy/Raju Cricket Club in the FIR, registered complaint against sports academy. Now the question arises why the name is not entered and the complaint is against which sports academy.

State Waqf Board should come forward to protect the property worth thousands of crores of rupees. Special officer Waqf Board Mr. Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal IPS should visit the Eidgah land and ensure cordoning off the Dargah land to protect the Waqf property.
