Sadly permission has not been granted to offer prayer at Balapur Eidgah for the past 12 years. The land grabbers present in the area have planned to wipe out its very existence so that they can do plotting on the land. With a plan to demolish the 400 old Eidgah the land grabbers started digging a well-type pit right at the back of the Eidgah and released drainage water into the pit so that the foundation of the Eidgah becomes weak and the structure collapse on its own.
Land grabbers not only occupied the Waqf land but also desecrated the Eidgah. Miscreants have demolished on of the minarets of the Eidgah.
It must be noted that a 400 year old Qutub Shahi masjid is also located near the Eidgah which is uninhabited and the local people have converted it into buffalo shed and toddy compound has been constructed on the graveyard land.
