Patna: RJD national president Lalu Prasad on Saturday used Urdu poetry to convey the message that he has not lost his verve despite failing health and his incarceration. He is serving sentences in a number of fodder scam cases. He is lodged in a Ranchi hospital for a number of debilitating ailments
Outlook India shared the verse on Twitter along with a video and a post by a leading English magazine.
The prisoner-patient of fodder scam taint Laloo Prasad Yadav may be at his weakest today. But his boast that you can’t take Laloo out of Bihar still rings a tad true. Will @laluprasadrjd be the absentee kingmaker in 2019?@yadavtejashwi #TheOutlookThisWeek pic.twitter.com/boupH8fonw

Lalu Prasad’s bail plea was rejected by the Jharkhand High Court earlier this week.
The verse which Lalu quoted means: “I belong to a tribe of revolutionaries, a small army of those who stand for truth. It is not for nothing that I am in a fight with the order of the day, I have taken a stand for a cause.”
https://t.co/BLUKVDP0Ng— Lalu Prasad Yadav (@laluprasadrjd) January 12, 2019
