Lalu Prasad Yadav ‘Super CM’ of Bihar: Sushil Modi

Patna: Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Wednesday called RJD supremo Lalu Prasad “Super CM” of Bihar claiming that he remote-controlled the grand alliance government, a day after Prasad asked the Nitish Kumar dispensation to take all measures to restore law and order.

“The manner in which the RJD supremo counselled the Chief Minister on taking measures to check the deterioration in the law and order situation has left no one in doubt that he is the Super CM of the state,” Modi said in a statement. Prasad has “obliquely” blamed the Chief Minister for the spurt in crime, Modi said.

By pointing out that jammers were not working in jails to keep a tab on the illegal use of mobile phones by inmates, Prasad was implying that Kumar had failed to rein in crime, he alleged. The BJP leader said that by asking people to report incidents of crime in the state, Prasad has again proved that “he controlled the remote of the grand alliance government”.

“Prasad used to settle issues like kidnapping and extortion at his level during Rabri Devi’s rule, an intervention he wants to make during the Nitish Kumar government too,” Modi alleged. Modi said Prasad was sending a “terse” message to Kumar that there was a scope of more ministers from his party to join the Cabinet.
