New Delhi, May 26: After an exposure of IPL scam, both Lalit Modi and BCCI seem in a pull ‘n’ push mode. In an official email, Lalit Modi blamed BCCI secretary N Srinivasan for using his power and position wrongly.
Accusing Chennai Super Kings owner and BCCI secretary, Modi said that the secretary with a selfish tendency benefited his own team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) making partiality with other teams.
Modi also accused that Srinivasan used his power and position to buy West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard to play for his team by raising some frivolous issues with the West Indian Cricket Board.
Stating on the auction case in last year, the Secretary was allegedly using his power to change the auction rules specifically ensuring his team CSK to retain around 2 million dollars, even though he was allotted for 1.85 million dollars.
Although, it had been decided all the players would be brought into common pool, he went on breaking the rule despite Modi’s opposition.
