Lambasting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his reported comment, BJP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Dr K Lakshman today said it was not proper on the part of KCR to say that Union government was not cooperating with the State.
Taking a dig at KCR, Lakshman said the former’s comment is like an adage “Blaming sea for not able to catch fish”, he ridiculed. It is meaningless to criticize the Union government for the decision of Krishna River Board, Laxman said and asked why the Chief Minister delayed in reaching an agreement for power with Chattisgarsh State. KCR is more interested for his party’s prestige rather than administration, he added.
The BJP MLAs today met at party headquarters and discussed the strategy to be adopted in the budget session of the Assembly. Laxman said the Chief Minister was responsible for the suicides of farmers in the State. TRS government is not working as per its election promises, he alleged. The party would raise public issues like farmers’ suicides and loan waiver, he added. (NSS)
