As part of its aim to provide best health care services to the poor to address kidney related ailments, the Telangana Government was making all efforts to set up some 40 Dialysis Units in all the districts.
Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy will tour five districts from today for two days. He will inaugurate a total of six single used filter Dialysis Units from Monday besides participating in development programs of Health wing in the districts.
Ministers, MPs, MLCs of the districts will attend the health programs to be attended by the Health minister. Out of the target to set up 40 Dialysis Units, the State government has so far launched some 20 units in the districts. Lakshma Reddy has been touring Suryapet, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal rural districts and will launch six dialysis units in selected districts.
On Monday morning, the Health minister will inaugurate Dialysis Units at Suryapet Diagnostic Center at 10 am, Huzurnagar at 12.15 pm and participate in local programs in Khammam at 3.15 pm. He will also stay put in Khammam on Monday night to inaugurate dialysis units at Sathupally on April 10 at 9 am and Bhadrachalam at 11 am. The Health minister will also inaugurate one dialysis unit at Mahabubabad at 1 pm and another at Narsampet at 3 pm. (NSS)
