Health Minister Dr. K. Lakshma Reddy on Saturday earned Rs. 5 lakh by working for an hour in Yashoda Hospital.
As part of ‘Gulabi Coolie’ drive taken up by TRS leaders to raise funds for party’s public meeting at Warangal, the Health Minister worked at Yashoda Hospital on Somajiguda. He took an elderly patient on a wheel chair from first floor to ground floor. He also shifted another patient to a ward on a stretcher. He also did the dressing of a patient in the orthopaedic department. The hospital management paid him a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh for the services.
It may be mentioned that Lakshma Reddy is a doctor by profession. (INN)
