Seemandhra MPs once again today submitted their resignations to the Lok Sabha Speaker in support of united Andhra Pradesh.
It may be mentioned here that resignations of 13 MPs belonging to Seemandhra were not accepted. Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal submitted his resignation for a second time and handed over the letter to secretary general of the office of the Lok Sabha Speaker. Earlier he had submitted his resignation in protest against bifurcation of the State on August 2 demanding that the Centre keep the State united.
Rajahmundry MP Udavalli Arunkumar also sent his resignation to the Speaker’s office.(NSS)
