Lagadapati slams Botcha, to quit politics if T gets statehood

Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal today said Telangana Bill will not be passed in the next session of Parliament.
Talking to media persons at Secretariat here, Lagadapati said the State will remain united. He expressed anguish over PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana for his remarks of disciplinary action against the leaders defying the party high command. He opined that no one will remain in the party if such action was taken. The PCC Chief should think repeatedly while making such remarks, he said.
On bifurcation of the State, he said all Seemandhras from ordinary party activist to Chief Minister were opposing CWC decision on bifurcation of the State. He exuded confidence that Seemandhra leaders would stop the bifurcation process. He said he will quit politics if statehood was given to Telangana. (NSS)
