Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajgopal has made it clear that there was no threat to the Congress government till 2014.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Lagadapati said that nothing will happen to the Congress party interests, even if some people leave the party.
He said that the Chief Minister, who has no interest in allocating them to private persons, allocated Bayyaram Mines to Visakha Steel Plant. Stating that VSP was a national asset, Lagadapati said that there was nothing wrong in allocating Bayyaram mines to VSP. Lagadapati said that the people would teach a fitting lesson to the leaders who were destroying the State.
Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has said that nobody can stop allocating Bayyaram Iron Ore to the Visakha Steel Plant. It was not correct on the part of Telangana protagonists to make Bayyaram a political issue, he said and added that VSP was a national asset.
