Lagadapati demans sedition case against KCR

Vijayawada Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has demanded that a sedition case be registered against TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao for whipping up regional hatred.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Lagadapati said there was no change in his stand on the State bifurcation. Demanding action against KCR, he said he would submit CDs of his hate speeches to the court. He argued that people of the Telangana region were losing in several ways because of the separatist movement and asked them to realize it. He charged KCR with trying to gain politically by stirring regional emotions. He said it was wrong to divide the State fearing the threats of some separatist leaders.

Rajagopal said though all the Telugus in the capital were for creation of Telangana, 90 percent of the people of Andhra Pradesh were for keeping the State united. He said it was the same Telugu that the TRS leaders were speaking and their newspapers and TV channels were using, that the TRS leaders were criticizing.
