London : The mama monster will be back as Lady Gaga has officially announced that she is returning on Ryan Murphy’s ‘American Horror Story’ next season.
In an interview with Z100, the 29-year-old pop superstar answered “yes” when asked about a return to the show that she won a Golden Globe for this year, but added that she “can’t promise you how or when or anything like that,” the Mirror reported.
It came after the ‘Born This Way’ singer, who replaced Oscar-winning actress Jessica Lange in the FX horror anthology series, won a Golden Globe for her performance as vampire The Countess in the last series ‘American Horror Story: Hotel.’
She said during her acceptance speech, “When I played The Countess in American Horror Story, it reminded me that I am always playing different characters in life and when I take them on, I become them fully.”
The pop star added, “I have been living inside of the Countess and it has been so liberating because she doesn’t give a s**t about anything. She has lived for so long and she knows too much to be bothered. But I am different from that.” (ANI)
