Washington : Though the court’s judgment was not on her favour, Kesha has received support from the stars far and wide via social media.
While fans immediately started the #FreeKesha hashtag to send their love to the ‘TiK ToK’ star, her peers in the music industry, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Kelly Clarkson and more quickly took to their twitter handles to extend their support, reports E! Online.
“There are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery,” tweets Lady Gaga.
“My heart is with @KeshaRose.,” says ariana Grande’s tweet.
“Im not accusing anyone of anything, but i believe Kesha deserves the ability to move forward, create and earn a living,” reads Iggy Azalea’s tweet.
“If two people dont want to be in business with one another it seems very cruel for one to hold the other in a contract,” she adds.
“Trying 2 not say anything since I can’t say anything nice about a person… so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke,” tweets Kelly Clarkson.
The 28-year-old singer broke into on February 19 when a Manhattan Supreme Court judge refused to let her walk away from a six-album deal with Sony and Dr. Luke, the man she claims raped her.
The singer had sought to nullify her recording contract because it brought her into contact with super-producer Dr. Luke, whose real name is Luke Gottwald. (ANI)
