Hillary Clinton arrived in Kabul on a surprise visit to Afghanistan. Sources said that she will call on President Hamid Karzai on Saturday. Her meeting with the Afghan President will be focused on U.S.-Afghan civilian, defense ties and stalled Afghan reconciliation efforts.
Later Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton will leave for Japan to attend an international conference on Afghan civilian assistance.
Before arriving in Afghanistan, Clinton was in Paris to attend a 100-nation conference on Syria.
