Government of Telangana launched Shaadi Mubarak Scheme for girls of minority committee and sanctioned ₹ 9 Cr for the same. As far as the question of effective implementation of the scheme is concerned, sources say that lack of staff has deferred the enquiry process. In this situation approval of applications is being delayed.
Many applicants told that while applying online, identity proof of the groom is being asked. Submission of income certificate, bride’s photo, birth certificate, SSC memo, copy of bride’s Adhaar car, invitation card, copy of bank passbook is made obligatory. People want to relax the rules to ensure success of the scheme.
