Labourer stabbed to death in UP

Mathura: A labourer was allegedly stabbed to death by some of his in-laws in village Gausana falling under Jamuna Paar police station today.

Raju had gone to his in-laws’ house to take pick up his wife when the incident took place. He was working as a labourer in Noida, they said.

“After some altercation with Raju alias Raj Kumar, the accused turned violent and attacked him with a knife. He was rushed to district hospital where he succumbed to his injuries,” a police official said.

It is alleged that Raju had a tussle with his father-in-law, they said.

While the body of deceased has been sent for post-mortem, three members of in-laws family have been taken into custody, police added.
