Srinagar, May 26: A 47-year-old labourer, working in an under-construction railway tunnel, was electrocuted after coming into direct contact with a live wire at the site in Anantnag district of south Kashmir, police said today.
Ghulam Nabi Bhat, a resident of Mathigund, was busy in work at Qazigund railway tunnel, 80 kms from here, when he accidentally touched the wire last evening, they said.
Bhat died on the spot and later his body was handed over to his family for last rites, they said.
